This past weekend we went to visit Uncle Pinky and Aunt Teri and their Homosassa Island Home. They picked us up on Friday (you can only get to the Island by boat) We sailed down to the river past Monkey Island (an Island inhabited by Monkeys in the middle of the water) we saw a few dolphins on the way and we made it to the house. Not only did we have Island chicken cooked by Chef Pinky but we also had s'mores by Aunt Teri cooked over the roaring bon fire that lasted all night long. The next morning we went to an old Indian burial ground and saw a massive spider. We set sail for the springs after eating at the freezer, a local bar that serves good shrimp (not that I'd know since I do not eat shrimp) I ate Tilapia. At the springs we snorkeled and swam. Rob and I went on a snorkeling tour together and can't even begin to describe how cool it was under the water. Hundreds of Mullet fish 18-24 inches long and we were swimming in their schools. Every direction we looked there were fish, above, below and to every side of us! To say the least we had a great time. Rob caught 4 catfish we got to go on 2 moonlight boat rides and spent lots of quality time with Uncle Pinky and Aunt Teri. We love them so much and are so thankful to have them in our lives!
