Update

I can't believe in a matter of a few weeks we will be heading to Florida. We won't be back to Des Moines until Graduation! That is so weird! We never did find a buyer for our condo but we found a renter! At least it is something. Maybe we will try and sell it when the market goes up a little. Poor Rob is stuck in Iowa until August 5th but we have to turn the apartment over on the 1st. He will be homeless for 5 days. I will already be in Florida because I start on Aug 4th. He will stay with some friends but I feel bad for him. So we looked up prices for moving our stuff down to Florida. $1500 for U-haul and we pack it and drive it ourselves and pay for gas. $2700 for PODS. We pack it but they ship it. $2500 for a company to pack and move it for us. We have not decided yet but Rob wants to have the moving company! I understand, that coffee table is so so so heavy! Rob's mom is going to drive down with Rob to keep him company. I think Adam, my brother, will come drive down with me.

I can't believe I am almost done with my second rotation! It is so strange to think we will be trying to match residencies in a few months. Interviews are in December! Everything is so busy. I can't wait until January 31st when everything is down hill, but we won't find out where we will be for residency until March. Next April will be exciting. We are planning to do a global health rotation in Singida region in Tanzania, Africa. That is going to be so so fun. We will stay an extra 2 weeks to sight see and hopefully my family will join us to show us around. They were from that area. They haven't been back in 30 years so it will be so fun for them to see things!

The other day, on Our Anniversary, I was stuck in the OR with a dirty needle. They did this big 'To Do' and made me go to the ER. They drew my blood and then got blood from the patient. Then they had the nerve to charge me with the bill! I was so upset. ER bills are expensive and they made me go! I told them "Hey, it was your employee who stuck me and you made me go to the ER. How can you charge me!" Well it was going to be $900 out of pocket so I was going to fight this tooth and nail! I got a message today that they dropped the charges! Yeah! Also the patients blood work can back and he was negative!! Double Yeah!! So I have nothing to worry about but it was a stressful few days!

I miss Rob and Maddi so very very much! It is so nice when I hear his voice. I hope Maddi knows I did not abandon her! I am so glad we only have 10 more days apart and then never again! It is not worth it. We will never spend so much time when we are so so far away!
