Des Moines Flood

Alright, so, there is some water here in Iowa right now. Driving around, it looks a little more like FLA now. We are luckier here in Des Moines then the rest of Iowa, but we still have some water to deal with. I know my babygirl would miss seeing some of the excitement, so I thought I would send some her way. Here is what some of it looks like:



Note the mail box above. This is more than a block from the raccon river. You cant even see the road signs further down the road.


This is the bridge I dropped a brick from to break the ice a couple winters ago, which means the river is up a good 12 to 15 feet easy.



The above two are of Fleur dr on the way to the airport. They said its atleast five feet of water over the road there.
